Ah, that message appears when you're using a Chrome-based browser (or your browser is sending a Chrome user agent string). I set it up back when Google was pushing "Web Environment Integrity". They've since abandoned that project, but they still use the Chrome engine's massive market share to bully browser developers and the W3C into adopting only the Web standards Google wants, regardless of the consensus among everyone else (much like Microsoft used to do with Internet Explorer).
